Farbe: Topas/bräunlich, durch Kontakt mit altem amerikanischem Eichenholz, mit orangefarbenen Reflexen. Aroma: Intensiv nach exotischen Hölzern. Noten von Honig, Tabak, Gewürzen, Schokolade, Vanille und gerösteten Mandeln. Leichte Jodnoten. Verkostung: Am Gaumen präsentiert sich ein berauschender, umhüllender Geschmack mit einem für das Holz des Fasses typischen Charakter, reichhaltig und komplex. Noten unter anderem von Trockenfrüchten, Vanille und Curry. Säure und gut strukturierter Körper im Einklang mit Süße und Tanninen. Es ist ein Wein mit großer Langlebigkeit.
