La viticoltura di precisione del 2017 ha portato alla zonazione di diverse aree di ciascuno dei vitigni e di ciascuna di queste zone, piante in particolare. Queste piante e aree di maggiore concentrazione danno origine a grappoli con acini più piccoli, con maggiore potenziale di invecchiamento e che vengono raccolti manualmente in cassette per rimanere a 2ºC per 2 giorni in cella frigorifera.
Rosso scuro, denso e opaco
In degustazione ha tannini netti, fini e in aumento con concentrazione nel mezzo della degustazione, freschezza balsamica, carne, prugne, more e mirtilli, un finale pieno di forza e minerale.
Naso complesso e intenso verso la fine della fermentazione in botte. Tartufo, cedro, leggero iodio, olive nere, cacao e un intenso mix di frutta nera e rossa e fichi secchi. Speziato, con pepe nero, timo ed estensione minerale.
